Slop Fest 2012

It was very exciting this week as we got the sample Slopfest t-shirts in!  The steps it takes from concept, to design, to editing, to formatting, to printing are always an adventure but it is exciting to see the finish product!  My son was patient enough with me to be the model, though he was not crazy about doing it at first and at 4 years old definitely let me know!

Slopfest always seems like an intricate puzzle to me.  There are 100's of moving parts and at any one time we are navigating through many of them in a week or even within a day.  The complexity is indeed a challenge and as we move closer to the event I am always prayerful we have not forgotten something major.  At the end of the day I have to remind myself that as long as we have dirt and water Slopfest will live up to its name!  Everything else is extra!

The pieces to the puzzle are really starting to come together this year! It is shaping up to be another great year of Slopfest.  I am thankful to be a part of this tradition that started 15 years ago!
